Why Chinique Alburg  is a Mocha Girl on a Mission…

I am a Mocha Girl on a Mission because as a young female college graduate with little work experience, I’m trying to break into the working world wherever and however possible to make a name for myself. Being blindsided in the midst of it all,  I became pregnant with twins way before I was anywhere near ready or equipped to care for a child, let alone two. Then my life took another turn when one of my twins did not make it causing me to appreciate things that much more. In addition, I had to work and prepare to care for my now one child on my own because of course all relationships have issues and problems; some more than others. Even through the onset of so much, I managed to enroll back into graduate school and keep my faith as no storm lasts forever.

Chinique’s biggest obstacles…

1) Losing a child before it arrived 2) Relationship issues during what was supposed to be one of the most happiest times in my life 3) Becoming a mother and remaining a student through it all.
