Why I’m a Mocha Girl on a Mission…

Hi lovely people I am Aiesha (Esh) Myles,  currently a college senior majoring in mass communications with high hopes to becoming a motivational speaker. I would have to say my biggest drive would be optimism. I strive to seek it in any situation presented to myself. Without it I would never have drive to want to excel or push for better.

My Greatest Accomplishment…

I am very proud of myself because I have succeeded accomplishments I never thought I would and I have surpassed some odds! My biggest accomplishment to date, would have to be my 25 pound weight loss. I am not yet where I want to be but I am very proud of where I currently stand at in my weight loss journey. Though I faced many obstacles and found it very easy to just give up at times, I had to remind myself of the bigger picture and the greater rewards that flourished from the outcome of my hard work and dedication.

Obstacles I’ve Overcome…https://mochagirlspitstop.com/wp-includes/js/tinymce/plugins/wordpress/img/trans.gif

I know all about challenges being a young African American woman in college. The biggest one I faced was financial hardships but one thing about the people who love me, is they will do anything at any means to see me prosper.  Though hardships and obstacles present themselves throughout this journey of mine, I take them for what they are and challenge myself to learn and grow from the experience that it will soon become.

Another accomplishment is my button business, infusing what I love (art) and using it for good. I must say my buttons have made a name for themselves and continue to do so among college campuses, Greek affiliations, and social networking, just to name a few. I love to see my craft, a little piece of me on someone knowing I had part in creating something that is originally one of a kind. It really makes me feel good! My biggest inspiration is knowing that I have purpose and promise, and I am designed to do big things and I WILL do big things, I have a strong desire to leave a mark that cannot be erased and I will do so with positivity, optimism, dedication, sacrifice,  and diligence.  “Character is not something people think you have, it’s who you are.”
