I know what it’s like to be single on Valentine’s Day and for some singles, this can be a day of avoiding social media, eye-rolling at the glimpse of lovey-dovey, over sharing posts you accidentally see online and wondering when you’ll find love. It brings my heart great joy to see black women embracing their blackness, natural hair, distinctive features and beautiful brown bodies! You should be proud of your melanin. When I was younger I didn't want a thing to do with my melanin.
